Road Trip To Sin City
Las Vegas,
often known simply as Vegas, is the most populous city in the state of Nevada. Las Vegas is also often referred to as Sin City because of its numerous adult attractions as a paradise for guilty pleasures.
Last Thanksgiving, we went to Vegas for a 1 night 2 day trip and were already making plans on the drive back home to visit again soon. Maybe we were drunk with the energy and lights of the city of fantasy.
One thing we couldn’t do last time was go to a pool party (pool season runs from April-October). My birthday is in April, so it's the perfect excuse for a trip to Vegas. But honestly, Vegas is always fun haha.
Since we’d be driving, I styled for comfort for the 4+ hour road trip.
Day 1 - Desert Road Trip
STYLE
Tie-dye sweatpants + Knit top + Cowgirl Denim Jacket + Cowboy Boots + Rancher Hat
“Be Comfy, Be Bold.”
For a look that expresses your individuality but is also comfy, choose a bold color or style for a comfy item, like tie-dye sweatpants. I also wanted to add some desert vibes with my rancher hat and cowboy boots.

1/ Peggy Sue’s 50’s Diner
First stop was Peggy Sue's Diner for breakfast. As the name alludes to, this place is a classic 1950s-style original roadside diner.
Wherever you sit, you can enjoy the extensive collection of movie and TV memorabilia of the owners. The service was excellent and the food came out quick. We ordered an omelette, hash browns and biscuits. Love those nostalgic and classic American vibes.
2/ Sanithrift
Thrift shopping for vintage clothing is always fun and sustainable!
This store was huge! It’s just after you cross into Nevada and right off the highway. Very well-organized and clean. I bought a cropped denim vest for only $10 which went great with my outfit today! I’m good at finding hidden gems anywhere. My husband says that’s my special talent haha.
3/ Bonnie and Clyde's Death Car
Right near the thrift shop is the original Bonnie & Clyde car.
Bonnie & Clyde were a criminal couple who traveled around the US with their gang during the Great Depression, known for their bank robberies and passionate love.
This exhibition is located at the corner of the Primm Valley casino and you can see up close the authentic bullet-riddled Ford V-8 that the infamous duo were in when the police gunned them down in Louisiana in 1934.
After watching the movie 'Bonnie & Clyde' made in 1967, Bonnie became one of my style muses.
I even named my cats after them!
Worth the stop! Definitely beats your regular rest area.
4/ Red Rock Canyon
Once you arrive in Vegas, there’s plenty to see besides the Strip - spectacular desert vistas, historical sights, and the opportunity for some fun outdoor adventures. Just 20 minutes away is Red Rock, which is a desert full of gigantic sandstone cliffs. This formation, which is about 180 million years old, consists of lithified sand dunes that covered a large part of the southwestern United States during the Jurassic time.
The old saying, 'It's not about the destination, it's the journey' really applies to this road trip because you can start your memorable experiences even before hitting Las Vegas. That's why we love road trips.
It’s a great park for an easy walk in nature or more advanced hikes. We loved exploring the beautiful red & brown shades of these majestic layers.
We hiked one of the trails and saw so many wildflowers.
5/ Umiya Sushi
For dinner, we had AYCE sushi at Umiya. It’s popular so reservations are recommended. The nigiri, rolls and small plates were creative and tasty. They are also amazingly quick and accurate with their service. We toasted for safely driving to Vegas!
Day 2 - Daytime Casual Vegas
STYLE
Bodysuit + Long skirt + Boyfriend Jacket + Boots
“Be Confident & Enjoy The Little Moments.”
For a casual but sassy Vegas look, you can match a halterneck bodysuit with a deep slit skirt. I love lilac as you can see. April in Vegas sounds warm but it can get chilly. Besides, you need a jacket for those powerful air conditioners inside casinos.

D-2 여행 일정 / ITINERARY
After a good night’s sleep, we enjoyed a light morning drive to get some grilled cheese, donuts & coffee. Sounds very American.
1/ Beach Time!
One of the main reason why we came! I love waves. Anytime. The sun was hot and that means it's time to go to the beach!
I threw myself into the sparkling water. Clear sunny skies and the sound of people drinking and laughing. Vegas baby!
After a few hours of swimming & tanning, we hungry. Time to eat!
2/ Libertine Social Gastropub
3/ Lady Gaga Live
I was so excited to see Lady Gaga live! It was her first concert in a while.
SHOP THE JAZZ NIGHT DRESS
It was a GAGA obsessed night and I listened to "Born This Way' almost 100 times since.
Day 3 - Last Vegas Day
STYLE
Monokini + Cover up shirt + shorts + Straw hat + Socks + Sandals

1/ Della's Kitchen
Della's Kitchen serves breakfast and lunch with a combination of comfort food and seasonal specialties using fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
I like to put on a bucket hat for sunny and rainy days, but also for brunch time! If you want to hide your puffy morning face, this is the perfect choice. One more tip! Get a foldable one for easy packing.
2/ Daylight Beach Club
We headed to where the music was playing.
Shop Terry Shirts for Beach Lovers
3/ Lotus of Siam
This is some of the best Thai food I have ever had! The level of spice is there but just right. We weren't actually that hungry but we ate all the food we ordered. And the staff were super nice and friendly. You will not leave disappointed.

4/ Driving Back to LA
To prepare for another long drive back, I wore shorts & a loose tank top which is always comfortable and a boyfriend jacket and cowboy boots to complete the modern cowgirl look.
After we got married, we promised to go on a trip together instead of buying each other gifts for our birthday. That makes me feel like the whole month of April is my birthday. We planned together, rode together and laughed together throughout the trip. The whole process itself is a birthday gift to me. Thanks to Paul, every moment felt special.
You know what? During our 2 night 3 day trip, I made 8 different outfits with just one suitcase, including all of Paul’s stuff! How about expressing yourself and boosting the guilty pleasure for your next vacay to Sin City? With only one suitcase, you can be whoever you want.
